Keysight Technologies Malaysia began its manufacturing operations in 1972 as Hewlett Packard, with only 60 employees producing core memory stacks in a rented bungalow at Macalister Road in Penang.

Today, Keysight occupies a 42-acre site in Bayan Lepas, in a 1.2 million sqft facility, with a workforce of about 2,600 employees, with majorities being professionals.
